Lindboskolan is a F – 6 school in Hallstahammar. The school is housed in refurbished premises and has about 460 students distributed across three parallel classes. The school also has three after-school care departments.
At Lindboskolan, three special educators work closely with you. You will be part of a work team where you will be responsible for coordinating support for the students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for someone who wants to be part of Lindboskolan's development journey and contribute to the student health team. In your role, you will be involved in:
- Developing the school's student health work by contributing special educational expertise to the promotional and preventive work.
- Ensuring high quality in classroom teaching by guiding and supporting colleagues in pedagogical work.
- Being the coordinating responsible for the work of the team regarding special support.
- Conducting pedagogical investigations and other documentation.
- Collaborating trustfully with guardians, colleagues, and external actors to create the best possible conditions for students' learning and development.
QUALIFICATIONS
You need to have experience in similar roles such as special educator or special teacher. You possess good communication skills and can express yourself very well in spoken and written Swedish. You are attentive, with your feet and heart in the operation - both in primary school (lower and middle grades) and after-school care. You see the whole picture and take into account the larger perspective, you understand your role and prioritize the best for the entire operation in your actions and decisions. It is of great importance that you are a team player, that you see strengths in collaboration, and consider it natural to be an active part of our student health team. To thrive in the role, you are structured, clear, and proactive. You have a strategic approach and are goal- and result-oriented.
We are looking for you who:
- Have a teaching license
- Have a special educational degree and/or special teacher license, preferably with experience in both roles.
- Have good knowledge of the Education Act, curriculum, and other governing documents as well as a holistic view of student health and learning.
- Are solution-focused, flexible, and possess good ability to operate in a complex environment.
- Preferably have knowledge of early reading and writing acquisition as well as mathematics.
- Have a good ability to create pedagogical solutions based on students' individual needs.
- Want to develop together with colleagues and actively contribute to the school's systematic quality work.
- Have a strong desire to work in a team and contribute to a positive work climate.
- Want to be involved in developing and strengthening the school's student health work together with the new management.
OTHER
The position will be filled provided that the necessary decisions are made.
